This Challenge is specifically designed to help you not only learn how intermittent fasting works but commit to it for long-term benefits. Whether you're entirely new to IF or you've done it before, there's something in this Challenge for absolutely everyone.
If weight loss is a goal, many Challenge members (depending on which schedule they choose) can see anywhere between 5-10 lbs of loss in the first 4 weeks and can see between 10-20+ pounds at the end of the 8 weeks.
After the Challenge is over, you're welcome and encouraged to stay in the Facebook group for added motivation and support.
Many participants enjoy the accountability that comes with the Challenge and sometimes choose to take advantage of their Alumni discount and participate in more than one round.
If weight loss is a goal, do I need to do Intermittent Fasting forever?
The choice is entirely up to you. There are thousands of people who continue to fast after they’ve hit their goal weight because they want to reap the long-term health benefits of IF beyond weight loss.
Benefits include: preventing chronic diseases, reducing inflammation, improving mental health, improving memory… and so much more. You don’t have to practice fasting forever, but there are also PLENTY of reasons to make it part of your longer-term lifestyle.
Daily fasts, including 16/8, 20/4, One Meal a Day (OMAD), Full-Day Fasts, including 5:2, 4:3, and True Alternate Day Fasting (ADF), are all supported.
